Season of Giving at the Library

giving

It’s the Giving Season!  We are often asked how someone can donate to the library, so we are taking this opportunity to list the following:

If you would like to support Cedarburg Public Library with a tax-deductible donation, you can do so in a few ways.  Checks made out to the library can be dropped off or mailed to the library with attention to the Library Director.  If you would like your donation to go toward something specific like new children’s books, or new adult books, then please indicate that with a note.  You will receive a thank you note along with a receipt mailed to you.

You can donate to the Cedarburg Friends of the Library, or even better, become a Friend of the Library by going to this link https://cedarburglibrary.org/friends/join-the-friends/

You can donate gently used new or newer books to go into the used book sale or to go in the Buy the Book used bookstore at the library.  Donations are accepted year-round.

You can shop the year-round used book sale at Buy the Book store which is located at the front entrance of the library and in the book nook near the checkout desk.  Great selection of books at great prices. Proceeds go to the Friends of the Library.  Fill your holiday shopping list!

Lastly, you can pick a handmade ornament from our Giving Tree and make a donation of your choice by dropping it off at the front desk.  The ornaments are handmade by one of our Friends member’s son and you are welcome to keep it as a gift!

The Library Staff is happy to have served our wonderful community all year long and we wish you the very best holiday season and happy new year!
