Garage Sale Policy

As the summer season draws near, here is a reminder of the City rules and regulations regarding rummage, garage and craft sales:

“For the commercial outdoor vending and sales of merchandise conducted on private property, a temporary occupancy permit shall be required from the Zoning Administrator. Excluded from this requirement are rummage sales, craft sales and yard sales held on private property used for solely residential purposes. Rummage, garage, craft or occasional sales are limited to a total of four (4) such sales in a calendar year, each not to exceed four (4) consecutive days per private residential unit.”
