I received a parking ticket in Cedarburg, now what do I do?

If you wish to pay the ticket you may do so in one of three ways:

  1. Stop in at the Cedarburg Police Department lobby-we are open 24 hours a day/7 days a week. Cash, check, or credit/debit cards are accepted (fee applies for using credit/debit cards).
  2. Mail check or money order with a copy of the ticket to: Cedarburg Police Department, W75N444 Wauwatosa Road, Cedarburg, WI 53012. Please do not send cash via mail.
  3. Online payment via GovPayNow using PLC 6329; please be sure to have your ticket number available (noted in the top right corner and begins with either P or W and followed by a number sequence). A service fee will apply.

The fine information is located on the back of the citation. Depending on how long you wait to pay the ticket will decide how much you have to pay. The fine scheduled is based on the date the citation was issued.

The second option is that you may contest the parking ticket by clicking on Contest Parking Ticket. Upon receipt and review of the completed form a decision will be made to determine whether the circumstances warrant the dismissal of your parking ticket. You will be contacted either by phone, email or letter as to the decision on the citation. If it is dismissed, no further action is needed on your part. However, if it is decided that your citation will not be dismissed, you will have five days from the date of notification to pay the original amount of the citation. Failure to pay for the citation will result in a suspension of your vehicle registration.
