WIS 181 Construction Start Notice

The Wisconsin Department of Transportation is scheduled to begin a 3-mile rehabilitation of WIS 181 (Wauwatosa Road) from County C (Pioneer Rd. ) to WIS 60, beginning the week of June 13th. All construction is scheduled to be complete by late August.
Project Details:
• The project will remove and replace existing asphalt pavement, improve curb ramp/sidewalk connections, replace guardrail, and replace deficient drainage culverts
Traffic Impacts/Detours:
• WIS 181 will be closed to through traffic during construction.
• The signed detour route utilizes County C (Pioneer Rd.), County Y (Granville Rd.), and WIS 60.
• Access will be maintained for local traffic only (traffic with an origin or destination requiring access to/from WIS 181)
• Local traffic will be required to access from the nearest adjacent alternate route.
