Western Avenue Development Proposal

A local Ozaukee County based developer (P2 Development) is proposing a residential redevelopment on the 13 acre site commonly known as the Mercury Marine or Scott Pump site which is immediately east of the Interurban bike trail and west of Pine Shadows Apartments and Fischer Terrace Apartments.  The site is approximately one block west of downtown Cedarburg and the Cedarburg Historic District. 

The blighted site will require environmental cleanup and a public road through the development that increases the costs of the project.  Based on these additional costs the City is considering creating a Tax Increment District (TID).  

The following public meetings will be held in the next month.  These are opportunities for anyone in the public to ask questions or make comments on the project.

CDA Meeting - In Person at City Hall or Zoom - April 4, 2022 - 6:30pm
Special Council Meeting - In Person at City Hall or Zoom - April 19, 2022 - 7:00pm
JRB Meeting - Zoom Only - April 21, 2022 - 4:00pm
