Street and Utility Work Updates

Dear Residents,

Here is an update on the Street and Utility work. All timelines listed below are subject to change due to weather conditions or equipment breakdowns. 

Highland Drive & Sunnyside Lane

Dorner Inc. ran the water main up to Edgewater Drive. They are now dropping back to make connections with sanitary laterals and water services while they wait for safe water samples to turn on the new water main. After they get caught up with laterals, they will continue working on the sanitary sewer and water main from Edgewater Drive to the bridge. The utility work is scheduled to be finished up the first week of July. The utility work will be followed by the road work.

Jefferson Avenue

DC Burbach will be finishing up the concrete work this week. The concrete work will be followed by fine grading. Stark will be on site within the next few weeks to do the fine grading of the road base and then paving.

Thornapple Lane

All streets continue to be closed to thru traffic. Due to the construction, roadway access and driveway access may be limited during working hours but will be restored at the end of the day.
