Potential Bike Race in Cedarburg
The City of Cedarburg Common Council will be meeting on January 29th, 2024 at 7:00 pm for their regular monthly meeting. One topic up for discussion is a potential bike race in our community. The proposed race would be held on June 18, 2024 and the race route would be closed from 8:00 am until 10:00 pm that day. Residents will continue to have access to their properties during the race day through access points. Access points will be staffed for safety, which means there may be a 15-30 second wait until a group of cyclists has cleared the intersection prior to crossing.
There will be two information sessions held in the Cedarburg Library Community Room on January 22 and 23, 2024, from 6:30-7:30 PM. All residents and businesses impacted by the proposed racecourse are welcome to attend and learn more about this community event.
