CPL Kids Radio

Tuesday November 9 @ 3:30pm

Learn some technology and producing skills by joining CPL Kids Radio. You get to plan a 20 minute live radio show! You can tell your favorite joke, play your ukele, or perform a dramatic scene from your favorite movie. Work with other kids to develop a show you care about. Our radio producer, Jeff Messerman, will be available to help you in your quest.

For kids in grades 5 - 9. Registration only.

Scams Targeting Seniors

Monday November 15 @ 6:30pm

Francesca Johnson, of the Wisconsin Bureau of Consumer Protection, will discuss the details of scams that target seniors, the warning signs of a scam, and what to do if you or someone you know falls victim to a scam or fraud. The Bureau of Consumer Protection Senior Guide will be available. As Wisconsin’s lead agency for consumer protection, the Bureau of Consumer Protection at the Wisconsin Department of Agriculture Trade and Consumer Protection, provides information and education, mediates complaints, investigates cases, and takes enforcement actions to fight fraudulent and deceptive practices that harm consumers and honest businesses.

Fall Book Club

Thursday November 18 @ 6:30pm

Please join us for a timely and moving discussion of Killers of the Flower Moon:The Osage Murders and the Birth of the FBI  by David Grann before Martin Scorsese brings the tragic story to the big screen later this year.
