Historical Stitching Series

March 15th or 29th

Join Carol Alexander Coutts of "A Stitch Back in Time" as she presents her Historical Stitching Series. Carol will share her life-long love of stitching not only in teaching her techniques and skills to complete wonderful projects, but will add to your experience by including the historical background of these techniques.

Discover the joy of simple but elegant historical hand stitching techniques. All of the projects are wonderful keepsakes or will make beautiful gifts.

This month, Penny Rugs will be featured. You will use this Colonial technique to make a charming little purse, sewing kit, or table mat. The techniques and skills learned in this class can be used for unlimited other projects as well. No previous stitching or sewing skills are required but please bring a small pair of scissors.

Cost for materials is $20 and will be collected at the beginning of the class by the instructor.

Registration required. Please use the online reservation tool or call 262-375-7640 ext. 200 to register. If you have any questions, please contact Deb Bauer, Community & Adult Services Librarian, at 262-375-7640 ext. 206 or at dbauer@cedarburglibrary.org.
