Economic Development

Downtown

Our City prides itself on its support of retail, commercial and industrial commerce that makes Cedarburg a great place to locate a business. Cedarburg has won national recognition as a top shopping destination by Midwest Living Magazine and as the best place to raise children in Wisconsin according to Bloomberg Business Week.

The Cedarburg Economic Development Office plays an active role in helping owners find usable space and/or land and assist in the regulatory process of owning and operating in our area. Resources such as the Cedarburg Chamber of Commerce and Ozaukee County Economic Development are also available to reach out and assist businesses.

Each year more than 175,000 visitors attend our four annual festivals – Strawberry Festival, Wine & Harvest Festival, Oktoberfest and Winter Festival, which are managed and organized by Festivals of Cedarburg, Inc., a 501(c)3 non-profit organization. Business and retail owners garner tremendous benefits from these festivals, which not only bring in large numbers of people seasonally, but create exposure that lasts all year.

Whether you are looking to find leased space or land, explore loan options, learn about public financing assistance or help to navigate the regulatory process, the Economic Development Office can help. Our goal is to enhance Cedarburg's image as a place to not only live, but to work and become part of the fabric of the community.
